ABOUT US
Stepping Stones: Children's Health and Nutritional Care Education (SSCHANCE) strives to provide health education to children all over the world through free, informative coloring books. With the simple knowledge of how to properly wash one's hands or brush one's teeth, a community can experience a change for the better as individuals become empowered to take control of their health.
Annie and Andrew Kim, seventeen and fifteen-years-old respectively, decided to start SSCHANCE in an effort to help create a better future for kids all around the world.
By partnering with other organizations and local churches, Annie and Andrew are planning to send over 1000 hand and dental hygiene books to Guatamela and Kenya this summer. All coloring books are free and are sent to the organization's headquarters. Although they are starting this organization relatively small, Annie and Andrew hope to expand their work and create many additional series in different languages so that they can reach children all over the world and help provide better health education. Their firm belief that education is the key to empowerment inspired them to pursue this project.
